1. AC is simple and cheaper to get than DC. 

2. AC will be transferred to long distance as compared to DC.
3. AC can be easily converted into DC. 
4. Power loss in AC less as compared to DC during transmission.

1. Multiple shock in AC due flactaing to AC current but in DC its only single shock.
2. The peak to peak value of AC is greater than DC. It's means that when 220v AC reach our home, it's not 220v is maximum value beacuse AC has RMS ( root mean square ) not average value. So, its maximum value reach to 311v ac, but in case of DC value is constant at every interval of time.

Conclusion:-

AC and DC both are dengerous but some point tell us that ac is more dengerous.
